Back-To- School checklist: Immunizations and Sports Physicals

It's time to trade in those beach balls for backpacks because summer is ending and school is coming in fast!

While getting everything ready for your child's first day of school, did you remember to see the doctor and get their immunizations? Sports physicals? Well, if you have not yet then worry not! Arbor Green Family Medicine does both immunizations and sports physicals for children and young adults.

Immunizations Needed

Texas State Law requires that students be immunized for diptheria, tetanus and pertussis, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR); varicella, hepatitis A, hepatitis B; and polio for school admittance. And if your child is attending 7th-12th grade, don’t forget their Meningococcal1 (MCV4) vaccine!
